Michael Anderson is the Executive Director of All For One Ministries. He has been participating on short term missions since he was 18 years old. Since his first trip to Guatemala in 2000, he has been to over ten countries helping lead teams both within the United States and abroad. He is passionate about helping churches and individuals fulfill their God-given responsibility to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This same Gospel delivered him almost 20 years ago when all hope seemed lost.

After growing up in an abusive home, Michael experienced a series of events that eventually led him down a road of hopelessness to a point of contemplating suicide. At the age of 13, in the midst of a heated argument, he was told by his biological mom that he was adopted. Then, shortly after venturing into the drug and alcohol scene, he experienced the loss of two grandparents and his biological mom was tragically killed in an alcohol related motorcycle accident. Even after battling through all of these struggles, he had still not surrendered his life to Christ.

At the age of 17, Michael found himself in the middle of a sexual identity crisis which left him struggling mightily with an unwanted same sex attraction. It was at this point that he considered taking his own life. This seemingly hopeless situation drove him to the church.

In October of 1999, Michael sat at the end of the pew awaiting the altar call. It was on this day that he walked forward to the hymn “I Surrender All” and on this day, Michael did surrender ALL to Jesus Christ. Michael found a new reason and hope for living through the person of Jesus Christ. Through Jesus’ grace and provision, Michael was able to walk away from his drug and alcohol use and the same sex attraction he had felt. Michael received the inner change and transformation of a new heart that included new desires. With the power of the Holy Spirit, Michael had the deliberate intention to become a new creation in Christ. Today Michael resides in Lancaster, SC with his Boxer named Hunter.

 Michael is an ordained and licensed minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. After graduating in 2008 from Wingate University with a degree in Religious Studies and a minor in psychology he attended Columbia International University and Seminary where he earned a Masters of Divinity degree in Ministry Leadership. He served as chaplain for the Andrew Jackson High School varsity football team for 5 years and authored his first book in 2017 Deeper Woods a 31-day devotional designed to help hunters go deeper in their walk with Christ. He also published Deeper Waters in 2019 and most recently became the lead Pastor for the new All For One church plant located in Lancaster, SC. His travel and missions experience has consisted of 6 continents and nearly a dozen countries including Wales, Serbia, London, Guatemala, Israel, Ecuador, Cuba, Mexico and more.

If he isn’t circling the globe sharing the life changing message that changed his life nearly 20 years ago, then you can likely find him in a deer stand stalking a southern, whitetail or on the water baiting a hook! He is also a passionate Lebron James fan and will quickly tell you that his TV spends most of its time on ESPN!
